Spread vs. Point advice

For a wedding which is more appropriate?

One isn't more appropriate than the other. They're just different styles of collars.

I'm tall and fairly thin, I prefer Spread collars as they are somewhat more dramatic and help to break my vertical lines.

I was under the impression that point collars were the most formal according to Flusser.

Definitely spread. IMHO, they tend to look better on most people. Then again, I'm more a fan of the British style and live in a country whose head of of state remains HM Elizabeth II, so I might be biased.
