In another life I think I was Dione Sanders, little game here a little game there, hit a homer in the afternoon, score a TD in the evening, throw down a little bowling then hit the back nine Sunday afternoon.....yeah right. I love the game of golf, actually I am an avid golf history buff as well, but as said by many others here, where do we find the time anymore? I ride a bike 3 days a week, stationary so I do not get to far away from my lap-top...and now and again I will find a pretty day to tee it up, but unfortunately, as time takes it's own toll on the body, competitive amateur golf is no longer part of my theme. Boy I do miss it though, thrilling really were the days when hanging over a 2 footer on the 18th knowing if it misses, you loose out on the prize money in the pro shop. Why do we put ourselves in those pressure situations anyway?
