Sports Coat with not jeans

I've mastered the art of sports coat & jeans at work now but looking to go a little beyond that.

I have some grey wool dress pants and they look frankly awful with sports coats.

I'm thinking a slim navy or blue trouser would work but I have no clue of brand/where to buy. Any idea's?

Epaulet Rivet Chinos are a good option

Curious as to why your grey trousers don't work for you. Grey works more often than any other color. Are your trousers too smooth in finish or perhaps too dark in color?

I was thinking of something with a crease.

I only know that when I wear them I feel like my mom dressed me. It's just doesn't look right!

A picture of your trousers and sport coat(s) would help. You don't have to be wearing them.

Sorry for the delay I wanted to take this picture in good light & I'm not home during the day except for weekends. Two sport coats & two trousers.

Light grey on left & second darker pair on the right.

That's actually another pair above - midnight blue - unfortunately too dark IMO.

Either pair of the grey trousers should go with the blue jacket quite well. The tan/beige check jacket is tougher to pull off well. I think a light grey, off-navy, light brown (but not too close in shade), or cream/off-white would work for trousers.

Thanks for the feedback. What is off-navy though?

I'd love to pick up some blue trousers but the places I shop at tend to have gray. Is there a good online option?

Sorry, I meant a shade or two lighter than true navy. Are you in the US? If so, maybe try a Brooks Brothers. Online you can also try Suitsupply.

I'm in Canada but we have both BB & Suit Supply.

Thanks for the advice, interested in other (cheaper?) options. Or perhaps wool pants really do $160 USD
