Reposted from the Cavour thread after one day in case I can get advice here. Even though I have read articles and other threads, I find it difficult to make the judgement in person...
I got my sports coat from Cavour. I am worried about the fit, I am not sure if it is too tight or short.
It feels close on the buttoning point, but I do not see the "X" mark so I am not sure if it is just part of being a slimmer fit coat. I think the shoulders are fine. On length is on the shorter side but it seems to cover my bottom (although barely). There is a slight collar gap if I put my hand next to my ear (e.g. if I am picking a phone call), although when I go to a neutral stance it hugs my neck again. I am not sure if this is something normal for RTW.
This is a 52. They also have 54 and 152 (longer size), I am not sure if I would benefit from sizing up. Although I think 54 may be too large for my chest.
I would appreciate any help or insights. Thank you.
