Sportcoat or Orphaned Suit Jacket?

Gentlemen,

Being a newbie, I'd like to solicit your opinion regarding a potential sport coat purchase. I'm on the lookout for a blue sport coat and came across this one (shown in the pic below). The problem is that I'm worried that this particular sport coat could be mistaken for an orphaned suit jacket. The material is 80% wool and 20% silk and the jacket is completely lined. The pockets are jetted and not patch ones, which might be an issue for a sport coat, in my opinion of course. The pattern is a subdued Prince of Wales check, as you can see in the picture.

What's your opinion regarding it? Should I go ahead with it or would you take it for an orphaned suit jacket as well?

The manufacturer, by the way, claims it as a sport coat (it's marked as SC on the manufacturer tag inside). Having said that, this jacket gives a vague look of an orphaned suit jacket... What's your opinion?

The other option in the same line is shown below. It's also a wool/silk sportcoat (marked as such). The pattern is marked as bicolor...

Any kind help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks once again!!

My apologies, but I made an error formatting this thread and couldn't rectify the issue. I, thereby, had to create a new thread (but with the right formatting this time). Can't seem to delete this thread now...

My apologies!
