Tweed DB with denim trousers as an alternative option for the look. What do you think?

Not a favorite for several reasons. The sharp, high contrast geometric look of a blue and white check gingham shirt doesn't look right paired with the soft, muted windowpane patterned tweed fabric. I'd suggest a blue end-on-end or royal oxford in pink. The bright and shiny silk pocket square is too brash with the jacket. Try something with Autumnal colors in a wool, or matte washed silk? For shoes I would go with brown leather or suede

“Our stylist?” You hire people to tell you what pants to wear with your jacket? Impressive.

No not exactly, as you can see under each of my post, I work for an online store, called Sartoriale. The look I posted was created to showcase our latest arrivals from D'avenza. I thought it is relevant to post in this thread and to ask your opinion about it.

I agree with your suggestions, these changes would make the look certainly more appropiate to wear IRL. As it was styled to be photographed, the contrasts are there to highlight certain elements, to make the picture more eye catching.

Ah. The mobile site doesn’t show the sig under your posts. “Our stylist” makes sense now.

@DavidLane

David - jacket looks great. I think a touch better fit than the Ercole jackets, but just a feel, not sure I could articulate why.
