Is it considered cheating to wear a jacket on top?

This was me deciding on a cream/oatmeal jacket for spring and summer. In my view it passed the jeans test. What are your views?
It was a fairly nice kop at a local outlet Zegna store, a full-canvas soft tailored quarter-lined wool-silk-linen mix in a 3-roll-2 configuration with heavy MOP buttons. Generally works like a charm with high-twist grey trousers in different shades and various dark chinos (my favourite pairing being a dark olive green). I would have preferred for the lapels to be a touch wider, but this width just about works on me, it's 8.5 cm I think. I only needed to shorten the sleeves a bit, otherwise fit great all over.
The shirt is a very nice Mazzarelli butcher stripe spread collar broadcloth, the jeans are dark wash 501 Levi's. The boat shoes are Timberland, and the socks (barely visible) are dark green wool OTC from Pantherella I believe, a lovely gift from my wife.
Not pictured: Barbour Cullen jacket in olive that somehow works fairly decent over all this.

Hey gang -

Recently won this new Ring Jacket sport coat from @SpooPoker . I like it, but my wife thinks it's too tight in the chest. I think the armholes are just super high. It's pure silk and wears like linen. Neat!

On the evidence of this single photo, it doesn't appear to be too tight, but maybe get her to take the photo with you in a comfortable standing position?

I would need to have multiple range of movements/muscle flexing.

Maybe tomorrow.

Nice win!
There appears to be some drape just above the breast pocket, so I’d say not too tight in the chest on the basis of that.
