What, no sass? Looks great
This approaches the platonic ideal of sport-coat-and-jeans
Yea that’s pretty hot. I really like that look. You really manage to do the SC with Jeans look justice. Obviously you need the right fabric and fit, that said that coat is awesome! Nicely done

It's taken some practice and a lot of advice before I started buying sort coats last year. I think I have a pretty solid grip on what works well with denim now. I try to make sure things I am adding are versatile enough to pair with denim.
I'd go for darker denim for contrast. Or a different tone sportjacket.
I mean it's already a raw denim pair, though been washed a couple times. They are certainly plenty dark imo but I am planning a new pair soon so that will give it some more contrast for sure. What kind of tone are you picturing for the sport coat?
With this particular denim I'd go a darker shade of blue if you must go blue.
It's rare I would reach for a blue jacket with denim, but I agree, a darker navy would be best.
jeans and jackets is hard - thoughts?
jacket is hopsack; the photo makes it look more like finer suiting wool.
