Just saw @brillopad 's new brand has launched, one of the first offerings of which is slim-straight, high-rise denim that just might be a great option for wearing with tailoring (actually that sounds like it's the whole point) at $150. https://lostmonarch.com

Disagree. I prefer a single roll. Sometimes I like em crisp and clean, and sometimes I like em nonchalant like @EFV has done here. And I presume this is intentional and he would disagree with your suggestion as well. So in your face!

(Am I doing styleforum bickering right????)

Single roll imo would work if the rest are also more casual. Despite the polo being white the way it's paired with the jacket makes the whole look too formal. The jeans is already of a very country style light blue color but could've been excused without the highschool kid roll. It's just out of place but Eric has been putting in single pieces that are unexpectedly too young for his age so I guess it's the norm.

I cuff. Some don’t, and it looks good too. Depends on the jean/rise/how much I’ve eaten that week.

Rules of thumb that would make your life easier here:

    1. Learn to dress.
    2. Then sit back and learn some more.
    3. Consider giving noob advice.
    4. Judge against it and actually learn some more.
    5. Stick to what you know and start there.

Nothing personal but I have to disagree seeing what some people offline have been saying about your IG posts. Btw my life here and IRL is definitely easy. You on the other hand being in the industry needs to learn better. Again nothing personal, take it as a useful advice.

    ok

If I gave a damn what "some" people say, I wouldn't have time to do anything else. There are a select few people who's opinions I care about. You are not one of them.

I'm glad the feeling is mutual. Nevertheless I will continue to convey the opinions of those "too polite" people whenever I hear them. Maybe one of them is one you actually respect.

Why don’t I use the block option more often, instead of engaging with trolls? Oh well, there’s gotta be a first time for everything.

I wasn't being a troll. Can't state an opinion regarding your fit? But if you can't handle it, feel free.

    [IMG] No.

    So petty.

To turn in and get chippy a bit (which I rarely do), I'd say a couple things:
1 - Riva does some kinda wild stuff, but definitely has a sense of himself. I almost always like what he posts even if I don't think it's for me personally. If I saw him in the airport, I'd probably say "that dude has style." Your outfit is fine, but kinda boring - something I'd wear. I'd see you and say "that's nice."
2 - You say you're not worried about his opinion, but the abundance of reaction here would indicate otherwise. The high road is probably the better one for a man in your position.

    My $0.02.

    1. Well, that's your prerogative and opinions. I won't try to challenge those, as it's a highly subjective thing.
    2. Tbh, this has very little to do with this particular post. He is a very irritating poster with a track record of posting some pretty shitty stuff (not only his outfits). I don't normally bicker on SF (or anywhere else either for that matter), but this guy just rubs me the wrong way. I've put him on "ignore" now though, so there won't be any more of that.
