I think it suits you much better, but i reckon i have classical taste. :)

Don't you think double monks fit in the 'grandpa shoes' category ? They seem to be popular on SF, but here i mainly see them on the 65+ years old.
I quite like DMs, but I have been described as a grumpy old man stuck in the body of a 20 something...

I'd rather be this grumpy old man than the 20 something. Same guy by the way.

you're perfect for a new reality TV show I'm pitching.......The Sarasota Shore: Retired Gorilla Juiceheads Who Don't Like Paying State Income Tax But Still G.T.L.

He's famous just because he intentionally try to look old to be different from the other young models. Everyone hates paying income tax that's why we shop online overseas.

The issue with such a broad topic thread such as here is there's no limit on the region and age group. Combined with the fact that I have zero regards to tradition and history the confusion was expected. I often combine sportjackets with batiks but I'd assume you guys wouldn't understand so I never posted (with respect to @am55 as well). With SWD this issue should be nonexistent.
Post them! I love batik. I have a batik tie I will wear today or the next couple days in honor of you.

Wow. Human growth hormone? I'm sure he works out a lot too, but I doubt that's all natural.

Encouraging especially since @18eastofficial does similar styles now and the fanboys are raving, why the hell not? Handpainted batik imo is superior afterall but I dig texture as well.

I guess that's why people pay big bucks for bespoke...so they can look like they work out without having to.

Nope he just has unfortunately steeply sloping ‘milk bottle’ shoulders that despite vast amounts of money spent on bespoke nobody seems able to correct or mitigate for him. Each to his own but for that kind of money spent I’d be xpecting a better outcome.

He pays for his stuff?

He mentioned a few times that he does in the expensive bespoke pieces articles. Not sure if there are freebies. Luckily the guy is here so we can ask directly :)

I agree with everything except the casual / common colors.

I don’t believe so. Sometimes you’ll see him write articles about tailors that he hasn’t commissioned from. I’ve spoken to one that said it was because he wouldn’t make anything for free. Still wrote a fair and complimentary article about the tailor, so that’s nice.
