Hi all,

appreciate that there have been a lot of these, but would appreciate your thoughts on the overall length of this jacket (it's a Boglioli K). I'm a bit ambivalent as to whether it's just a smidge too long (not something I've heard often of boglioli...)

Sleeve length might also be a ever so slightly too long (but I'm also wearing a shirt with sleeves that are a bit too short as I'm at the end of my shirt rotation...).

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

The length seems okay, to me. But note that I don't care for jackets that are at all short, so I'm really expressing a preference. My other observation is that the jacket is too tight. The first and last pictures seem to show a great deal of pulling at the button. It doesn't look so good, it looks too small on you.

It does seem a bit tight with the tiny x on the chest, might have gone too far with waist suppression; if your back feels a little strain or have some wrinkles when relaxed then you should definitely get a bigger one. Using the thumb knuckle method, the length of a jacket can have some wiggle room as long as the proportion's still right and doesn't look like a dress.

Thanks for the replies,

Although I was focusing on the length the fit is also an issue.
I will probably sell it on B&S. It's a shame cause the fabric is absolutely out of this world. Insanely soft.

I agree. At first I was gonna comment that it didn't quite pass the thumb knuckle test but it does cover his rear end well and it loos good proportionately. I'm not sure if it's me but the shoulders look a tad large but would be an easy fix. I was so busy admiring the side vents (my favorite style) that I didn't even notice the x. I'm really digging the shoes too.

Not easy to tell with one arm in the air waving a telephone at a mirror for some reason - did your photographer not tell you to stand still, arms at sides?

Trousers are too short though.

Length is fine; like others have said too tight though.

It's a gorgeous jacket, and plenty to admire, but fit overall is indeed a bit of an issue, as many of you have been kind enough to indicate. Shoes are Enzo Bonafé. I'll put up pics of them shortly

Unfortunately, my photographer has decided to cross the ocean for work reasons... In those circumstances one does what one can. A la guerre comme à la guerre...
