I know you can adjust waist and sleeve length but what about the armpit to armpit measurement? I’m looking at a jacket that would need around 3/4 an inch taken in. Is this possible without throwing everything else off? The waist would also need a corresponding intake.

How much are you willing to pay, and why? 3/4 of an inch is almost certainly not worth paying for, especially since p2p requires involving the arm attachment, and then what about shoulders on the top? This will be far more expensive and liable to screwup than sleeve or waist adjustment. And really, is 3/4 of an inch even noticeable? Best to find a different jacket that fits you better.

That makes sense and certainly answers my question. Correct, not worth the expense.

Funny thing is this seller described a jacket I purchased at 18.5 shoulders with 22” pit to pit, which is perfect. However it cane in as 22 but 19” shoulder, which works fine too. So this next jacket he is describing shoulders at 19 and ptp at 23. Lol. Im afraid those shoulders might come in closer to 20, which I can’t do. Will keep looking.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
