Annonay vocalou in chestnut. Has an orange-tan hue in direct sunlight but is more of a proper mid brown in shade

Were these the same ones you posted on the Chinese thread? You weren't kidding about the lighting. In some pics, they seem darker and others lighter.

I would cuff them a bit higher but I think it's a good look. I wear my Doak Dovers with jeans because YOLO

I'm considering DOAK Dovers, but afraid to buy because I'm unsure how they'll look with jeans.

Would you mind posting a picture or two?

The FS look really good ??. How do they compare feel wise to the TLB? More sturdy? Heavier? Or similar?
If we are talking about the "feel", and say I am comparing them from a distance, I wouldn't find FS to be better than the TLB. They are in different leather first of all, and the TLB model is well executed, it's a bit "dressier" than my Dover in Country Calf but I think the leather/ last work well together.
For now, I think TLB carries better value since it's tag price is roughly 1/3 of the FS. However I do want to compare them again after say 10/ 50 wears.

Definitely want to see some long term wear on TLB, for something like a black grain just feel like great value to try even if I don’t get a lot wear out of it

Not sure if that speaks positively about TLB or negatively about FS. I'll go with the former ?.

What I meant to say is that the overall profile of TLB is quite well, if I compare them from a distance (so without looking at the details) they look quite as good as the FS, but at a closer distance I would say the details/ finishing is visibly better on the FS.
