I've tried to have a look through the search function but came up with nothing...
I've got a vintage pair of Church brown brogues which are in pretty good shape. However, where the 2 sides of lace hole panels meet at the bottom of the bridge of the foot, there is a slight split in the leather.
You can see the lighter colour of the leather at this split and it's "raw" leather if you get my drift.
What's my best bet on making sure this doesn't get any worse? Will plenty of wax polish help to keep it waterproof?
Thanks in advance :0
Stephen.
