Agreed. I was a little surprised by the length issue - 1.5" is definitely not due to factory variation. Messes up the trousers because I had a 2" cuff (double forward pleated) and now not sure if there is enough material to lengthen and keep a smaller cuff.

I actually wonder if diff factories are doing jackets and trousers. All the glitches seem to be on the trouser side - every jacket I've seen (including my own) have been top notch!

I see what you mean. Unfortunately, I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to go see him yet, he's about 30 minutes from me. Also, I'm waiting to get the final word from Rick before doing anything on my end.

Yep - usual size (the oft sold out 30 slim). I fluctuate between a 29 and 30 depending on the brand, but the extra room allows me to wear these a little higher on my waist which I like.

If that turns out to be the case, that would actually be great, as from my understanding a "deep" pleat will stay closed a lot better than a "shallow" one

So my tailor didn't think it was a pressing issue, so we measured everything and we compared it to the specs. Front rise is 0.65" too short, inseam is 0.5" too short (so totals 1.15"), hip is 1.5" wider than spec and thigh is 1" wider than spec. This explains all the wrinkling in front, and the length (if the hip/thigh was narrower, it would fall down straighter and would add more length beyond the 1.15").

From what people have posted, looks like about 5 to 6 weeks to get a pair of trousers made from the fabric you selected, and so far an undetermined amount of time to get trousers in that fabric in the dimensions you specified with the correct number of belt loops. ?

As a new customer who needed to size down half a size and S&M not having the size till spring kinda sucks. How do you not have basic white shirts constantly in stock.
