I think "clownish" is the wrong word to use because it has other connotations and without more context it seems unkind.

I agree, not a good combo - a great combo. Purple means justice, green means faith, and gold means power.

Has anyone tried the HMS moleskin fabrics? I'm wearing Brisbane Moss moleskin pants right now and they are the bomb. Unless it's a typo the HMS moleskin is twice the weight (600 g vs. 300 g) which sounds like it would be amazing.

Do you work at an office with a three-season porch in the northern US or Canada? That's the only way I can imagine 600+ gr. pants being practical.
