Just a heads up on sizing with the new oxfords. Shrunk 1 inch after a cold wash/air dry. Thankfully I sized up
Seeing a lot of pitti photos of the “summer tweed” fabric from die workwear. Any way @spiermackay can get a hold of some for a suit next summer with patch pockets.

Hmm... I've been eyeballing the cigar linen suit in my size, but there's only a slim available (really left it quite late). I enjoy the slim jacket, so no questions there, but the trousers is my worry. I haven't purchased S&M trousers before, but have read copiously here that contemporary is the way to go if you want a good silhouette. In saying that, I compared the measurements of the slim high waisted trousers to my best fitting suitsupply Washington trousers, and there's hardly a difference? My no means are my Washington trousers hugging my legs, on the contrary they have a fantastic drape (luck I suppose with the inconsistencies of suitsupply). In saying that, the rule of thumb seems to be to go contemporary, but the size chart speaks otherwise?I wish I had a better picture. Here is a contemporary suit (both jacket and pants). I consider myself skinny as hell but I enjoy every extra inch of room in that armhole. And mentioning the pants - I need every bit of room in the hip, thigh and knee area. If these garments were any slimmer I'd need to size up on everything.
I tried a slim pair of pants once and I couldn't put the pants on because the hip and legs were so slim. Power to the people who can wear them, they are truly slim fit.
@dieworkwear hook S&M up!If anyone has any idea where the cloth is from, I can try. But all the Mills I checked, no one knows. I can probably get it developed, but that takes time.
