Hey Rick, question about sportcoats. I've gone into the downtown store a few times and tried on the same jacket a few times. Each time, the jacket fit differently in terms of the shoulder area. The first time the jacket fit well in that area (didn't end up buying it, unfortunately), and the second time it fit really oddly. This has happened with two jackets (the tobacco wool cashmere and the navy windowpane). Just wondering if this is normal or if my body is just weird.

Those are two different shoulder constructions. The tobacco is a no padding/unstructured shoulder and the Navy windowpane is a lightly padded shoulder. They will fit slightly differently. And as this is apparel, there is always going to be a small level of variation from item to item, even within the same item. Best is to try it on. 95 times out of 100, you should be ok, but that 5% size deviation is present in the batch. Until robotics and automation completely take over apparel production, human hands tend to cause variances. Nothing wrong with you, it's just how clothes are made for OTR.
