For people who have tried to exchange suit sizes, how was the experience? I am frustrated that for each email sent out, there is a 2-3 days wait to get replied. The suits are sharp and handsome but the email communication is really ineffective. Any suggestion for a better way of costumer service communication? Thanks.

Thanks. 100 % silk suit? Sound like something Hugh Hefner would wear, lol. Texture and drape were my main concerns. Any input regarding that or anything else would be welcomed.

I’d say go for it. I have a RTW 100% silk jacket from another maker, drapes very nicely and has a lovely slubby texture to it. Fabric is Loro Piana.

I'm considering S&M for my wedding tuxedo and suit, specifically the MTM program as I don't mind flying in to have them measure me and my party from the US, but from reading this thread it looks like there are significantly mixed results. I'm otherwise a huge fan of S&M and have a bunch of their RTW and would otherwise like to support them. Does anyone have any recent experiences they can share? And if there are any similarly priced/quality options they'd recommend? Thanks!

Does anybody have any experience with the Zignone travel fabric? Is it worth the premium? Thanks!

I'd say my experience is rather recent (mid-December), and you can tell that I am not happy with the four suits I received, even after two flights to Toronto.

I would not tell you to avoid S&M's in-store program like the plague, but I think it depends on where you live. Is it so much more expensive to commission a bespoke/MTM suit locally, considering the cost of travel (flight, hotel, etc)? Remember that the downtown store has closed, so you will have to drive all the way to Mississauga. Maybe it still is worth it for you, but I'd say it is possible it might be either cheaper, or better (and only slightly more expensive) to find a tailor somewhere in the US.

And I am not sure if you are aware, but if something does go wrong, you will have to travel to Toronto to make any adjustments (or so I was told).

Nothing special here. Just featuring a few fan favorites from seasons past. The star here just might be the cream silk pocket square with blue trim. Whole outfit Spier except for shoes, socks, and pocket square.

I would like to ask to see if any member is facing the same issue as me.

I received my MTO sports jacket which I ordered back in November. I ordered it in a size exactly the same as my other Spier jackets which is a 38S in Neo cut with the exception of a shortened length by 0.25 inches.

However, I noted that the fit is drastically different, it is tight around my armholes and cuts into armpits. Hence, I took a measurement of the armholes, from start of sleeve to end of pits and noted it was close to 1 inch smaller!

Is this an issue that other members are facing? Or are there any data points of 38S Neo cuts i can reference to?

when was your previous neo from? Which armholes did you request? I ask because the fall 21 armholes were raised, many feel too high, so they will be lowered by an inch for spring 22 apparently. I think this change to higher armholes is what you’re experiencing.
