if that

if that's actually true, then how to you explain all the new mtm suit companies that have popped up in the last eight or nine years? That's the one i always get stuck on

8 or 9 years? You need an update bro.

Personally I think you’re missing a point here. This guy could be wearing the ugliest shirt there is, he’s a good looking guy in reasonably good shape. That’s probably why clothes look okay if not good on him that would look ugly in 99% of the people that don’t look after their bodies. This is like watching the sopranos, great clothing and all but you can see how some characters pull off looks simply because they’re good looking

Finally you guys understand that instead of spending time here and shopping you all should be heading to the gym and maybe some plastic surgery. Be like Bezos.

These are small operations catering to enthusiasts like us, who wear a suit because we think it looks good, are willing to go through extra steps to ensure that it fits handsomely and comfortably. Also they might not be particularly profitable enterprises.

Even if they're successful, this market is a drop in the bucket compared to the crowd of guys wearing uncomfortable suits because they're are required to for their job. That part is basically dead. To build on your anecdotal data, look at where these guys shop (Macy's, Nordstrom, JAB, etc.) and see the trend in how much tailoring they stock today vs last year vs 5 years ago. It's kind of a bummer.

that actually makes a lot of sense, i dont think cm will ever fully die i just think you'll only see people who are want to wear it in suits, it will be a niche class like mullets, but better.

Just an Ulster and a Trench- I bought two sizes of Ulster to test out the new "fits over tailoring" sizing, so one is going back
Would love some fit pics of both when they arrive! I'm about the same size and height as you, so I always enjoy your pics. ?

The outfit on him Looks terrible no offense and the language being used to describe the outfit is just recycled bullshit. No offense.

No need, I'm not him lol. Also I get that Duke Nukem looks cooler. 25 years ago.

Is their any hint of a balmacaan being released this season? (I've not followed this thread too closely, so apologies if I've missed anything!).

I'm really in love with this Drakes Gun Club Check, but equally reluctant to part with £1,300!

Today's attire feature an Abraham Moon Shetland wool in a dark brown herringbone pattern. Included a couple of more pics than usual to highlight the different shades of brown. Definitely a favourite in my wardrobe.
