More outerwear is up. I wish the brown herringbone came in a prince of wales check but alas.

thats fair, i guess i just had it beaten into me by gentlemans gazzette to think combos like that arent good, so thats why i ask the question. also just curious would you wear something like that as outerwear or a regular suit jacket?

This is why I've always on the opposite spectrum of the GG guys. My son wears it with casuals like jeans + tshirt. It's a strictly casual streetwear piece. Curiously my tailor who have had to redo "messy" Rubinacci etc said the quality of that particular jacket is exceptional which he never said about any jacket I've given him to work on. From the very high quality grey mop buttons to the construction is very clean and durable.

If anyone is waiting on the restock of the tennis sweater. I didn’t vibe with mine too much, size M and CONUS. Just want what I paid for. Hmu if interested.

Oh and quality is actually pretty cool, same as the Aran, soft and somewhat heavy, drapes nicely
Well, That Does That, The (XL) Should Arrive Tomorrow, It's Not Going To Fit, Need The (L), I'm Sure Based On This Fit, This Looks Great... :bigstar:

Yo these turtlenecks are sick. Gonna size up on the lattice and future cable turtlenecks as well for a sportier look

I am happy the lattice turtlenecks are priced at $138. That's high enough for me to feel comfortable passing on them (for now lol).

Funny, it's low enough for me to consider getting more than one. I feel like this kind of sweater (100% heavy-ish merino, lots of texture, raglan sleeves, fully-fashioned maybe?) typically retails for double that at high street retailers (if they carry it at all), and hundreds more at luxury brands.

100% was expecting it to be closer to 200. At 138 it’s priced really well. Sadly I was hoping the gray would be more of a charcoal so just the navy for me

Been asking for both for quite some time now.

As for the latter, VBC has some interesting fabrics available on their website that Rick is able to source https://vitalebarberiscanonico.com/collection/fabrics/

I've contemplated it for some time but always end up checking off other things on my list. I think the reason being that it's extremely difficult getting the fabric, stripes and other characteristics correct by pictures.

With that being said, I'd rather have a chalkstripe in a thick and fuzzy flannel fabric than a pinstripe in a smooth worsted fabric. However, I don't see Spier offering any of it RTW.
I can't recall whether it was VBC or Minnis but Spier had a navy and a charcoal chalkstripe flannel RTW suits two years ago. Not sure whether you were referring to a specific flannel though.
