@spiermackay which DB style is this jacket? https://www.spierandmackay.com/product/guabello-light-blue-herringbone-6684f-300-6-22152-db-mto-j

I know it says standard DB with soft shoulders in the description, but it doesn't look like any other DB with the same configuration.

In my experience, the standard DB configuration with soft shoulders feature bellied lapels. These seem straighter. The only DB model with straight lapels that you offer is the traditional DB model. But that one has a lower and horizontal gorge, which this doesn't seem to have. Am I just making things up in my head? I really like the overall expression of this jacket.

Have to check with Mike on this.

For anyone that lives in hardcore heat and doesn't own a seersucker shirt. This is your calling, its has become my daily while I'm still WFH. It's not exactly comfortable as it's a rough texture but it sure is breathable and holds its shape really, really well. Get one!

Just curious, how long does it normally take to have your order shipped? I tried to order pants, but after 5 days in 'processing' status I was told they were not available. I then ordered a shirt and it's been 5 days of it being in 'processing' status. I'm not complaining; just curious what the average wait time is for shipping in your experience.

It's probably for the best it's not too fast....leads to more buying...?

Bodies will be Single Breast, Double Breast, Polo Coat, Peacoat, "Classic Peacoat" which ironically is new for us, Balmacaan and the new incoming Ulster-ish Coat. Same customizations as the Jacket program. Though there won't be style options like there is with jackets. i.e. the style is the style. You can't adjust pockets, etc.

We won't be stocking fabrics save for the the Wool/Cashmere. Rest are from cuts from M&E, HFW, Abraham Moon and McGee. If we have a decent response, then Next season, we'll stock rolls.
Curious as to how the Ulster will be different from the Polo?

From what I found on google, seems like it's mainly switching patch pockets to flap pockets.

Usually takes a little longer if there's been a streak of sales or new items in stock.
I'd say about 5 days has been standard for me.

Here we go, Cerrutti jacket in action. The jacket is not as textured as suggested in the pics and is more navy/blue than in the pics as well. Its a really difficult fabric to photograph due to its intricate surface. The pic with the watch represents the colour the best.

Thoughts: as I've said before, I think a strictly light grey pair of trousers aren't optimal with this jacket. A mid grey pair or a plain matt smoke pair of trousers would be a much better fit. Also, I intended to put on a pale blue herringbone shirt like the one below which would've complimented the jacket better.

I’ve had the light brown Guabello wool/cotton high rise trousers for a few months now and have worn them about a dozen times. They look great and are super comfortable and versatile.

However, after each wear I’ve noticed a reasonable amount of pilling on the crotch/bottom area of the trousers. It’s easy to just pull off the few bobbles, but I’m worried it’ll thin that area out over time. They fit really well and are neither tight nor do they seem to rub against each other in the crotch area. I’m thinking it could be when I sit down, but it’s all on either leather or fabric seats and without much force so shouldn’t be causing any friction.

Sorry to ramble on, but has anyone else experienced this??
