Sir, Would Love Too See More Pictures In A Different Setting, Can't Really See The Texture Of The Jacket, But It's One I Wanted (OTR) And Missed... :fonz:

Yeah, hard to see the texture in the other pictures. Here are some (hopefully) better ones.

DO NOT SHOOT ME, BUT....

Which of these would you wear as either a sport coat OR with the matching SHORTS? I'm a huge fan of DB, and I have yet to try out a SM DB jacket. However.... I think the neo would also be nicer to wear with the shorts (and may be cooler when it is warm outside).

Personally, SC with shorts looks super affected unless you're in Bermuda or a child at a prep school. That said- I have a cream linen/cotton/silk DB SC from another maker, and it works GREAT as an odd jacket with all sorts of pant colors. Very summery.

$100 off weekend flash sale on select sportcoats just started. Just grabbed this. I'm thinking of it with a really beautiful pair of Air Force blue Zanella trousers that I just picked up from being finished by Nick at Oak Street Tailors.

This has become one of my favorite jackets- super comfortable and very versatile. It's hard to go wrong with pairings.

BTW, here are the Air Force Blue Zanellas that I'm thinking will be the go-to's for this jacket. What say thee, SF? View attachment 1623765
the sand herringbone and the af blue trousers? Yeah I'd wear them! :thumbs-up:
It will be hard to make a mistake with that jacket.

What @James1051 said.

Anyone have thoughts on replacing the white MOP buttons with black/grey MOP buttons on the twill peak lapel sportcoat?
I have it and I really like the white but if you wanted a year round wear I suspect a darker would work better and I would swap them

Just got my high rise shorts today but they're too tight for the same size as chinos or trousers. Does anyone else notice that? It sucks that now all the sizes are sold out so I cant even exchange for larger sizes

Should Be the same fit in the waist as the high-rise trousers. Also, should be enough in the waist to let out.

All Spier (except shoes and socks). New pink linen shirt, last year’s navy linen jacket, 2019 Sondrio linen/cotton trousers. It’s hot today.

This week is going to be variations on this theme, as I test drive all my new linen shirts. Also, its frickin' hot (which I love, but still), so linen is necessary.

I wasn’t fully on board with getting the linen sc this year due to the wrinkles but you’ve convinced me. Also man.. if only there was a way I could get my hands on those sondrio linen pants.. slept on them and knew I shouldn’t have

For what it's worth, if you're at work you probably should be wearing socks.

Eh- when I "go sockless", I'm wearing sock liners. Also, we're back in the office, but I'm holed up in my office pretty much all day, so not a huge deal.
