I don't have that particular jacket but I have the navy seersucker suit from last S/S. I wouldn't say that it is physically smaller than my other S&M suits/trousers but cotton does not stretch much at all, unlike wool. This may lead to the perception that it fits tighter, especially if you normally choose a trimmer fit in wool or linen. Note that the Sondrio seersucker is a stretch cotton fabric, so maybe not an issue at all.Anyone own the Sondrio blue check seersucker from last year? Wonder if it fits tighter like some of the other seersucker jackets

To the ones who have bought the Quest cotton trousers... do they fit as normal? I ask cause when I got the Pontoglio cords, I went with my regular size but those were like 1" short at the waist.

Back on the underwear discussion; it seems like anytime someone posts/buys "cream" trousers there are several other posters who either ask about the opacity or claim it's too much to get past.
I've dabbled in the dark arts of men's "flesh-toned" underwear. I was surprised Uniqlo didn't make any, and the options on Amazon and elsewhere are... at best not great, and worst nearly pornographic.
An S&M flesh-tone boxer-brief may not be the underwear what we want, but the underwear we need.
(understood there are a range of flesh tones, but many female underwear brands address these opportunities)
I like this as is personally. I know the flap/patch is part of the ivy aesthetic, but their general square shape with flap add too much bulk around the waist area and looks bad IMO.For those interested in real life pics of MTO fabrics. Just took delivery of this.
The tweed is compact and kind of smooth rather than spongy (I am not sure if these are the correct terms..), and it feels nice.
In light of recent discussions, I would probably have opted for 3/2 in standard cut with flap/patch and swelled edges if I were to do it again. However, I am happy with how this turned out, and look forward to wearing it when FW comes around

Yeah I got one not to long ago, and It was a tad bit tight, it was my first piece fromS&M so i just thought it was because I didn’t know my sizeAnyone own the Sondrio blue check seersucker from last year? Wonder if it fits tighter like some of the other seersucker jackets
Gotcha. My concern is that, for example, the wool/cotton were perfect in my size. The cords, on the other hand, were around 1" shorter at the waist. Had to let them out. And since they are cotton, that might not be the best heheThey fit the same as my other high rise pants, which all fit slightly slimmer at the waist than the same size in regular rise.
