Has anyone ordered the linen pants?? I am considering a pair for the spring/summer here, but unsure if the dress pant cut will not work with my sport shirts in the smart casual office. Would be something to wear alongside my lightweight chinos and denim

I have 4 pairs from previous seasons, and they are very versatile. Linen's casual nature will prevail in your case.

Cool, thanks. I'll keep them in mind then. Was looking at Tobacco or Khaki, will have to decide. Are they see through like some linen or are they thick enough to not see through?

Not at all. I have a natural pair, not cream, and nothing shows through to my eye.

Di Fabio DB Twill sportcoat. Really nice color and fabric. Surprisingly lightweight with lots of character. Solid summer item. It look bluer than it actually is but it’s in the realm of navy. The twill, both in texture and thread coloring used for the weave, is very nice.

I wasn’t entirely sure about this when I saw it on the site, but that texture is on another level

Any real life pics/experience with this one?

Bored enough to run a search for you:

I didn’t end up keeping the jacket. The fabric is beautiful but I wasn’t completely happy with the fit.
Unfortunately, this is the best picture I have. The fabric has wonderful texture.
I think this is the first time I’ve seen the wheat jacket in action

Last year’s pink bd polo and this year’s wheat hopsack

He has a bunch of great photos with that jacket on his page.

Here is a shot of the Wheat Hopsack. Previous pictures motivated the purchase during the liquidation sale.

Thanks. I've been following dapperpassion's account for a while now and remember seeing those pictures. Never quite occurred to me that it's the same jacket tbh. Pics on SM website has too strong of orange hue going on.

What sportcoat would match these trousers?

Thanks for the input! Good to know that you had similar concern with mine :)

In the meantime, should I go for this? Was looking at the trousers but then I realized that it's also available as a suit. Any comparison between Fox Air and Minnis from experience?

I grabbed the trousers, Fox Air is fantastic, feels very similar to Minnis from the quick try on I did before sending them to be finished. I'm sorely tempted to grab the jacket now as well.

Assume you took the brown right? How does the color looks in comparison to the pictures on the website?

Yep the tobacco brown. Judging off my screen, I'd say it has a bit more depth and a touch more of a red-ish tone than it appears on the site. It looks great with snuff suede, colour 8 cordovan, black....it's just a great colour!

I’ve got to say- trying to order a custom shirt today through S&M’s website caused so much frustration I completely scrapped the thought of ordering. I spent over an hour, trying different browsers and even different devices, and I could NOT get it to save a size profile or let me add more than one shirt to the cart. I want to support the brand but how is this even a problem?
