I mentioned mostly switching to Proper Cloth before but...

Fresh out of the box. This is also a cooper collar, the placket and collar is all completely one seamless piece. They pretty much nailed it. Fingers crossed nothing happens post-wash!

Shout out to Prabh, from S&M, for working through this with me.

I requested "Cooper collar" in the notes section.

Help! I need too know where you measure your trousers for your inseam?

Now I Start at the top (Crotch)

S$M Hemmed At 34inches,

20210308_153844.jpg
20210308_153445.jpg

And end here at 34inches
20210308_151218.jpg

This is over 34inches (35)?

Asking for a 34 inseam, Fold to cuff at 2.5 inches = 31.5 inseam?
20210308_153844.jpg

32 1/8 inseam???

20210308_151218.jpg

This shoul be at 31.5
20210308_153844.jpg

I've pinned up to the 2.5 cuffs and this is the result!

Now, I may be wrong and it won't be the last time, but where do you tape your inseam from? If I'm wrong, I can't use their service and If I'm right they can have the $8, because now they have to go the tailor again $15 and a week out!

Am I missing something here?

Are you adding 2.5 inches onto your inseam for the cuff? If so, you don’t need to do that.

Got it now. It just seems like you’re having back luck with the service. It makes me want to measure mine to see how they came out. I hope not, because $25-$35 is the norm for cuffed hemming near me.

Wow! That's Steep, Drive on over LA or close to a Military base (Hem) should be cheaper!

Konnor, I'm Just a needle and thread away from doing this myself!

I normally measure inseam from the same place as the first photo.

Interesting that you fold the cuff instead of having it done with the hem. Doesn't it loosen/unfold as you're going about the day?
Thanks, After fold you have to stitch the cuff in place.

Again, Am I Missing something?

Seems like you are having a run of bad luck with it, and if I had your experience I'd probably get them done locally.
I just tell SM to hem to 32" and finish with 1.75" cuffs. They have nailed it every time for me, including the medium gray coverts delivered to me today.
I pay $30 to have my pants hemmed locally, so $8 is a substantial saving

I measure every time. I gave up on my locals because I found that they were wildly inconsistent with the pinning and I was constantly having to take pants back in for a re-do. Forget about the pins, just hit the 32" mark every time, I will be happy.

Why wouldn’t you have S&M cuff to your desired inseam? Seems unnecessarily complicated.

This is the 3rd time, 1.) They forgot to hem after holding for (5) days 2) They hem not at 31.5 inches, 32 1/8
3) This! 34 7/8, The bottom line is they don't get it right however its done, not for me.

I normally pin mine and then take it in for hemming, I use too make those trips, some times 3 trips per trousers, No, not anymore. S$M, Not anymore, I take the 31.5 straight (pinned) 34 cuff (pinned) works every time, but you get what you pay for...
