A FEW NEW DROPS. That burgundy pin-dot SC looking fly...wish it was Neo. Still might cop.

Would definitely have copped it if I hadn't ordered the Marling & Evans burgundy hopsack MTO last month.

That one looks like it has strong brown undertones. Have you posted any IRL pics? What do you think?

Haven't received it yet. But @Burzan has. He provided me with a closeup of the fabric and a pic of the jacket beside a Minnis tobacco fresco jacket.

Either way, I wasn't in the market for a true red jacket. I actually prefer a burgundy with brown undertones to one sans brown.

I remember that being teased as a sample, but at this point with how Covid and everything has happened, my guess is it was delayed. I don’t blame Rick, though, as during these times having a bunch of stock and the cost to produce them/store them wouldn’t be worth it this year
Can anyone tell me what the lapel width is of non Neapolitan SCs?
Depends, what size are you looking at? The lapel width is proportional to the size, and I believe the latest SCs for the past year have had the lapel width increased, but could be wrong.

looking at a 40L. The lapel on my Neapolitan is 4 inches but looking at photos of the non Neapolitan they look to be more modest in size. Was just curious if that was just how the photos were taken or if it’s actually different.

Someone who can measure their size 40 sport coat will help you better, but if not mistaken, I believe normal sport coats are somewhere around 0.25”-0.5” smaller

There's a suede jacket coming?
It was teased back in the spring/summer by Rick. I am sure if you look back in the photos you can find it. Was a mighty fine looking jacket in a deep chocolate brown. I forget what the MSRP was estimated at, was in the same post or a reply shortly after

I want to get a Brown flannel MTO jacket.
Which one do you guys think looks better? And which most versatile?
Thanks

First one. Also incoming soon. I settled for it because of versatility. I was debating it and the last one, but came to the conclusion that the former both looked better and was easier to dress, ie it's more versatile. While brown and red/burgundy goes well together, I think brown and orange is a more natural match and looks better to me.

Also, while not being flannel, have a look at this one if you're looking for versatility Abraham Moon - Chocolate Herringbone Tweed - PL375 2013-12-MTO-J. It should fit the bill in terms of versatility. I'm really looking forward to see how mine turns out.
