Totally mundane question (my specialty): the merino wool turtlenecks, fine gauge not cable knit--will they stretch out and lose shape if I hang them? Or is it better to fold them and store them in a drawer? Same question for the merino wool LS polos
I have a bunch of merino longe sleeve polos.
I use curved/grippy hangers specifically designed to keep shoulder dimples from happening.
I haven't noticed any deformities or stretching.

Speaking of the Botto Guiseppe flannels, has anyone seen the Dark Brown in real life? I'm trying to figure out whether they are in fact much darker than the mid brown Botto flannels sold last year.

And has anyone been able to compare the Botto Dark Brown flannels to the VBC Chocolate flannels? The latter look darker than the Bottos on the website.

MTO Guabello 3-Piece. I think I didn't have these hemmed up high enough, more of a full break, whereas I prefer more of a half break sans cuffs. Elsewise, I think it's nice. Thoughts? Suggestions for future MTO endeavors? Was thinking of a double-breasted in navy maybe.

Looking great, mate. Have you considered a combination in which you try to bring out the pink in the jacket?

Cheers mate. I’ve worn it with a burgundy vest on a few occasions, dark red grenadine tie (not together with the vest) and I’ll try a pink university stripe shirt next as worn recently by @Burzan and looked awesome.

How would you compare the Botto flannels to vbc?

Botto feels more robust, like an English flannel - also quite water repellent I’m told (but not tested myself).

That's a great look. I like the gravitas. What's that symbol on your watch chain? Freemasons? Illuminati?

The fob is an Irish harp that was made in Dublin in 1947 from Sterling silver. My late grandmother was keen on her County Cork ancestry and it reminds me of her. Thanks for the feedback, sir.

Looking good as always.
With WFH in the indefinite future, somehow I start to see corduroy suits in a new light: the fabric is cozier and thus lends the suit more casual and feels less restrictive. Am I getting crazy in trying to justify a purchase?

100 years after the peak of the English-engineered famine. That's a powerful piece and a very special complement to your classic look.

Corduroy suit is amazing, especially because it can be broken up so easily. Corduroy separates are so very wearable.

Hi everyone,

I cant remember if Rick has commented on this... but can anyone recall if he has mentioned whether the outer shell of the new parkas were upgraded from the outer shell used in last year's model?

I bought last years in the spring at a really steep discount. It finally got cold enough outside to try it out, and while it looks like and was warm, I felt like the outer shell felt cheap and scratchy, especially around the neck.

I love S&M's products but every so often the first edition of a product has some drawbacks that are fixed the next time around. I'm hoping that's the case with these jackets.

Can anyone remember if they've commented on how the new parkas have been improved?

Does anyone have any IRL picture of this guy?

Tried taking the closest color to real life as possible:

Angelico.jpeg

This is actually a special one as it wears like a sweatshirt being from the Comfort Stretch line. If someone has to get 1 hopsack from SM get this one.
