Rick replied to someone's comment on instagram who asked about this model's specs. The model in this photo apparently wears a 40R Slim suit, and is wearing a Medium in his Heathered Cream Turtleneck photo. So, my guess would be he is wearing a Small in this photo as it isn't loose looking like it was designed to be, so must have sized down for photo purposes.
I am a 40R slim too so that info on the turtle neck is good to know. I wonder if the specs of the jersey cardigan are the same as last year. I am thinking the perhaps it is the one sweater that is undersized and not a good style to judge sizing on. I returned my first batch of mediums as they were far too small. The large jersey cardigans on me are still a slim fit and I am 6' 1" 160ish pounds. 32 waist.
One of my medium chunks will be here tmrw if I am lucky. I will try to measure the length straight out of the box.

The merino cardigan from last year was too small on me too, had to return. I’m a 44L and took my usual XL. The cable knit sweater on the other hand is bordering on too big at XL so I’m curious if anyone getting their chunky cardigan has one to compare.

Thanks. This is news to me. I always thought they turned it up.
It’s a good question. A tailored cuff isn’t made by rolling the pant leg up. A piece is taken off the bottom, flipped around, and then sewn back on with the outside of the cloth facing out.
Well, when your tailor do the cuffs, don't know if I'm going to explain it well, the inside fabric should stay inside.

Just watched the process on Youtube?

Receiving my first Spier & Mackay suit wonders why I bother with bespoke when I can get great construction, great fabrics, and a great fit with the help of a trusted tailor for a total cost that is significantly less than bespoke (even HK bespoke, which is very good and still signifcantly cheaper than bespoke elsewhere at the Lee Baron level). I guess I'm lucky that the S&M blocks fit my body.

Since you live in Mexico City, and I'm assuming you're Mexican, I'm wondering if you try and put some Mexican flavor into your fits. Or if you are more inspired by the Italian look we're all kind of inspired by and stick with that? Obviously your personal style enters into the discussion as well.
In other words, do you bring any aspects of Mexican style/culture/aesthetics to your fits?

Anyone got the rust donegal? Any fit pics? And, what would you pair it with? Thanks ?
I can only comment on slim fit. It is just like last F/W wools. I was afraid they had changed to the much fuller slim I rcvd for the summer sondrio dark brown denim. I should have returned that one as the thighs were very, very full. It took a lot of work to get it wearable for my build.
I bought the rust donegal because I liked the color but not sure about the pairing options yet as it is still too hot here. Mainly sweaters pairings for me I bet.

Thanks Mitch! Yeap, I'm Mexican. Answering to your question, I think it would be hard to put the Mexican flavor since, from my point of view, we don't have such items of tailoring, other than the traditional "charro" suit. Most Mexican tailors/tailored clothes are a mix of British and Spanish tailoring, which isn't bad but most of that influence is back from the 50's-60's. So boxy cuts and massively padded shoulders.

Will try to find something with some Mexican influence and see how it looks. :D
