This is like the 3rd or 4th time Spier & Mackay site has had this issue. They seem to continuously get nailed with web form hijacking likely through whatever 3rd party payment service they are using because it continues to happen even after they rebuilt their whole site. Personally, I refuse to buy off the site specifically because this happens so often. If you do buy on their site, get a throwaway CC# from your bank first.
@spiermackay is there a plan to fix this as this is kind of a big issue for an online vendor

I am tempted to try out S&M's custom shirt program with the new price scheme. I want to try a white linen shirt, but also the red worker herringbone. Is there any neat features you can add that aren't visible, like @Burzan was able to do with their SC's? Was tempted to see if they could do the white linen as a camp collar style

This could help out with those pesky Meermin returns... I want to buy more from them, but fit is always a risk so if they're willing to provide a certain dollar back, that's cool. What's the catch though lol

The only catch I can think of is that should not file claim before you are refunded. If you file claim and unable to provide correct documents in the required time frame your claim will be rejected and auto rejected on further attempts with that claim. All in all, Its a really good service they offer. Once you are refunded file a claim with documents requested( return cost deducted from refund/cost to ship item with carrier, and item cost/refund amount) and you good to go.

the shirt program is extremely flexible with extra details. Just email and ask them, I bet they can likely accommodate most things.

Cool, I think I may just email and ask what details can be added. Honestly wish they had flannel fabrics like these, it’s tough to find a good brushed cotton flannel like these OTR that aren’t boxy

My cotton suit came in. Initial thoughts. The jacket is a 38 slim. It is too slim for my taste, but not tight at all. The pants are a 32 contemporary. I usually wear a 30 pants, but the 30 contemporary pants were very tight on me. The 32s are too slim for my taste, but again not tight. I’m worried about the silhouette once I take the waist in. It may cause the pockets to gape and weird radial lines in the front of the pants.

What do you think?

Considering it's a rather casual suit I think the pants are fine.

I see where you might be concerned over the pants. I honestly think maybe a 33 if any would do better at least. Regarding the jacket, the back got that extreme hourglass shape, definitely 38 contempt will do much better.

imh:eek:) Waist is a bit tight and Back is a mess, and if it feels tight at all, It's tight, you know you will regret after your return time runs out - 38 Contemporary should fit better, It Does Look Good! I don't own a cotton suit, but - not until Spier & Mackay solves their QC issues... From The Lapels Up! :bigstar::bigstar::bigstar:

I like what I like casual or otherwise. I prefer roomier pants. These aren’t tight, just not as roomy as I would like given that these are there more “relaxed” fit

I usually wear a size 30 in most brands. These pants are a 32. The waist can only be taken in so much. A 33 would probably have more issues

The back is messy, but it’s cotton. It’s not tight in the waist at all. There is no pulling at the buttons. It’s just nipped more than I would like. It’s final sale and I’ve worn it once so no go on returning.
