Received yesterday the DB suit, taking it to the tailor today. Looks good but I was expecting it to be a touch longer. What do you think?

length looks fine to me. Is that the 44L guabello? I've got that suit, no length issues for me, I'm 6-2

Do you mean all over, or mostly in the forearm?

Incidentally, what size sleeve cuff opening do you guys seem to prefer?

I prefer 2cm taken out and have done just that on a number or SM jackets. 1 cm off the cuff would be perfect. Imo this change should be done to the slim at least for next SS season. SM can take a cue from Boglioli's arm measurements.

Is it just me, or are the lapels on SB MTO in the standard suit cut wider than on the MTO neapolitan cut? I broke out my measuring tape and compared jackets both in 38L and the standard had 4 inch lapels while the neo had 3.75 inch lapels. This doesn't make much sense based on the dimensions that the descriptions of each cut specify. I'd expect standard 38 to have 3.25-3.5 inch lapels.

Unsure, but my 36R Slim Non-Neo OTR has 8cm lapels and if I am correct they increased them slightly this past SS20 season for both Neo and Non-Neo. The Neo should have an extra 2.5 cm compared to the regular if not mistaken.
By the sounds of what you described is the smaller lapel was made before the lapel change in a regular fit lapel width (not Neo), and the new MTO is with the new standard lapel width being regular fit. Not 100% sure.

Hmm, I received the MTO standard fit in the spring and just received the MTO neo fit so perhaps they used the old neo pattern on my order?
