How do you like these shirts? I see the brown is in stock in my size, but I usually am more towards the casual/smart casual side and unsure if it'd work or if I should wait until next season for more linen shirts lol
Full disclosure, the only piece of seersucker tailoring I have is the green from this year, but linen is still king. And it's not really even close - from a weather/temperature perspective. With how crazy the temps are getting every summer I hope next spring/summer is seersucker everything. I want seersucker ties, pocket squares, socks, underwear, shirts, jackets, pants and shorts.
I wear a casual blue/white bengal stipe short sleeve seersucker shirt, and while I love the texture of seersucker, I agree linen is definitely still king. +1. Can obviously only speak for myself, but seersucker (and cotton on the whole) does very little for me. I'm moderately tempted by the classic blue stripe, but, alas, all trews are sold out.Full disclosure, the only piece of seersucker tailoring I have is the green from this year, but linen is still king. How would you say the cotton/linen blend compares to the 100% Irish Linen?the shirts are amazing and made me a huge fan of cotton/linen blends. Two of mine shrunk a bit unfortunately. I was really disappointed they didn’t make an appearance this year
Worth noting that there is some new Minnis flannel up in the MTO section.
Some of those are incredible, especially the red and green ones. But $498 for a pair of trousers made with them
