Which of the available white cotton fabrics is the lightest and softest? I'd like to have a white dress shirt made, but have found some of their RTW shirts in "fine twill" (not the purple label ones - I haven't tried those) to be a bit on the heavy and stiff side.

The black label OTR uses a slightly dense 2/80. It's very robust. After a few laundry cycles it softens up wonderfully and will last a long, long time getting only better with age.

If you go with the 2/100 twill that's lighter.

Question for those who are getting the popovers and wearing them untucked are you shortening the shirts? If so by how much?

Since long sleeve polos aren't coming back this might be the next best thing.

British Millerain Wax Cotton Jacket. Proto #2. Went with 4 pocket design. The snaps will be changed to more of an antique and the collar to a chocolate brown. For sampling they used what was readily available.

Looks great, especially with the chocolate collar and antique snaps. Is this the only color, or will it be offered in a range? Have you considered a drawstring waist?

Planning a few colours. Navy, Olive, Brown to start.

We considered the drawstring. Haven't decided yet.
