Some great posts and advice, thanks guys. Will post a picture of the slim fit shirt soon to show you the bunching.
MellonC, thanks for the pic. Sure, it looks great (it's a good Middleground between fits. There is slight bunching everywhere, which makes it comfortable and good looking). As I said, I believe I'm in between a extra slim and slim..., Yet all the bunching is at the hips. if I could go in the middle with a Spier choice I wouldn't hesitate, but they don't do it (unless MTO). I'm a big fan of Daniel Craig, but you have to put things into perspective also. Depending on the film or period, he wears classical stuff (casino Royale) and extra slim stuff (more recent films).
Honestly I like Spier shirts because for the first time I have full range of motion, I can seriously move my arm up and point hand to the sky and the shirt barely moves, that's why I'm not shocked with the fit of my current shirt. Also, I'm not James Bond, I don't run , jump in my suit. Probably most active thing I do with it is reach for the coffee cup and bring it to my mouth
However, I am sensitive to others comments, that body does change ( an added parameter to shrinkage!). I still fit in an old suit I got 7years ago.. my body hasn't changed much, and kind of got used to that but I realise things can change (and accelerate) as we age...
Honestly, at 60$ a pop, Spier allows us tou upgrade shirts without breaking the bank... I still have a very nice OTR shirt that I paid 150eur (225cad!) for and wore... Once. Actually, I kind of cringe at the thought of putting it on again these days and realizing it's too roomy and armholes very low...

Tell me. Do you think the shirt that this dude is wearing is ill fitting, meaning too big on him? I guess what I’m saying is that typical shirt fabric has no “give.” Thus, it’s ok to have bunching up in the sides like this 007 guy. Otherwise things will pull in every which way you turn, reach, twist and such. It may look OK if you are going to standing around and not move but kinda bad when you are chasing international spies and criminals
