Request for a fit check: This is a 38S. I measured myself at a 36 chest though I don't know how well I can measure. I love the color but not 100% of the fit.

The pants fit great, but the jacket seems big to me. I don't wear a lot of suits so maybe I'm just unfamiliar. Should I keep it, size down to a 36 (S/R) or just switch over to slim fit? Oh and I'm about 5'11", ~165 pounds.

Hard to tell but it doesn't look that big to me. I mean, it does look a little big in the chest/back but a good tailor can clean it. How does the shoulders fit? That would be my main concern sizing down.

The shoulders fit well but the jacket borders on the short side. The sleeve pitch needs to be adjusted and the back is a mess, but can be altered by a skilled tailor.

Package received today. One hit, one miss. The blue stripe linen shirt is great, although I will have to get over the feeling that I'm in an old time prison uniform. I took a risk on a pair of chinos, knowing that the rise was way too low for me....sadly I was right. Not a winner, although the trousers themselves are excellent.

@spiermackay - any grace on returns in the COVID world or do I have to brave the world to get them back ASAP?

Newbie here - thinking about picking up a couple pairs of S&M Trousers and wanted to know if the only pants that come in Contemporary High Raise are the pants with side tabs? Thanks!

Two quick questions:

1) Does anyone know whether S&M's jacket length measurements are from the back or front bottom of collar to hem?

2) For a guy that's 5'9, do you think an 11.5" rise is too long? I'd like to know other 5'9 or 5'10 guys' preferences when it comes to front pants rise.
