How exactly will the Model 2 slim fit sports coats be different from the Model 2 contemporary fit? In comparing the measurements of the existing slim fit line to the contemporary, I don't see a big difference. I am desparately in need of a staple navy blazer and not sure whether I would need to wait for the Model 2 slims.

Spier and Mackay appear to be a very legitimate option (just received three dress shirts....very satisfied).

No. All are proper half-canvas. I'll get that updated. Thanks for noticing that.

The slim sportcoat will be on the same patten block as the slim suit jacket. The difference between the slim and contemporary is not drastic. The contemporary is just that, a well fitting, modern cut, not a "Classic" full cut by any means. The slim just slims the torso and sleeves a bit for those with a leaner than average physique.

Thanks for finally updating the page with the store hours! One more thing, does online stock represent stock at the warehouse as well? For example, if the new white OCBD shit in 15-1/2" is sold out online, if I popped into the store is there a chance that it's still available?

Generally the stock online is the same as in-store. That said, we carry other items in store that are not online. Also, there is the off-chance that we may have items available in-store that are showing out of stock online. Items may have been returned and not re-entered into the system. They only go back in after inspection making sure they have not been worn/washed/damaged, etc.

Thanks. I'm certainly "leaner than average" (5'8", 38 chest, 148 lbs) but not what I'd consider skinny. That said, no harm I guess in ordering a comtemporary to see how it fits....assuming I don't get to Toronto in the near future.

Haha awesome! You are basically me! Im 5'8", 38 chest but about 155 lbs. I like their slim fits but they are pretty snug. I might go MTM some time. I am planning on being in Toronto between July 16th-20th, hopefully I can visit the store sometime then.

My typical weight is actually closer to 155.....so that would be reflected in what size/fit I will buy. Please let us know if you visit the store in July.....and I will do likewise if I beat you to it.

I'm the same size, I just tried on 3 different - 38R's in the Model 2 SC's today, and I actually need to let the waist out 1/2.

I will also say that they are very attractive in person, much more than the pics. If you want a Navy blazer get that Hopsack, its nice. I actually like the mid blue herringbone a lot. I'll have to decide between the 2.

I am in the same size (150 - 155lbs, 5'8"). I am waiting for the slim fit sport coat but sounds like the contemporary might work too.

Just sharing a few recent customs I picked up this week. Fit wise they are nearly perfect now.

I have learned that I like the twills mos, and I'll likely use MOP buttons on all future shirts. They are great.

Indigo Chambray, C10 Collar, pink thread (soft flannel like feel)

Blue & White Galway Check, 3" Spread Collar, MOP buttons, twill

Burgundy Winchester Check, 3" Spread Collar, MOP buttons, twill

Light Blue Jacquard Print, C4 collar

    Those look awesome!

How much did that chambray one run? Is there an upcharge for MOP buttons?

Thinking of getting some customs done up. Those look really nice

That chambray is amazing, I don't even see the fabric online but I would love one.

This fabric/thread combo is bananas. I really like it. I think I'm too old to wear it. But I like it.
