Well the tweed is half canvased and 1/4 lined. I believe the slub will be the same as the moleskin and be fully unstructured outside of some chest canvas. The shoulders on these two feel the same to me apart from the moleskin being a much thicker fabric.

What size did you go for with the moleskin? They both look great!

40 Slim in both, same as my other two jackets.

Do they have a little more give than the linen? I remember you saying you might want to try the 40 contemp in that one due to the pattern tightness.

Dang @Burzan ...that New Lovat Moleskin is awesome looking. Now I'm rethinking my choice of 2 tweeds. @spiermackay do the Moleskins not come in Long sizes? I checked out the website and don't see them.

Yep, more give than the linen with both. The moleskin feels slightly more snug from the thicker material but it's negligible, I wouldn't suggest changing sizes.

I have been wanting a moleskin to pair with denim and this should fit the bill nicely. I think it's great looking and will only continue to look more at home with casually as it breaks in.

That moleskin strikes me as the type of jacket you're better off all-but intentionally mistreating for that exact reason. Kind of like white bucks

The navy tweed would look great with gray flannels obviously, but also white denim (which I wear unapologetically all year round) and tan moleskins :)

Will long sizes be standard on the Neapolitan suits going forward? There were a couple great fabrics on this first run that only came in regular length (charcoal houndstooth). I'm hoping to get a shot at them next time around.

Also olive chinos would be a great combo!

Just got the Lovat moleskin as well and think it's great. I just realized that I had a total brainfart and ordered the slim fit instead of the contemporary fit. It'd be fine if I never button up my jacket; but it feels too tight in the stomach area with it buttoned. So I'll see if I can do an exchange.

How do you feel about it as a three season jacket? It's pretty thick; but since it's cotton, I'm thinking it should be ok.

I'm not sure, it's pretty thick and all the brushing of moleskin won't allow it to breathe like other forms of cotton. I guess spring mornings/evenings would probably be ok.
