    That's great.

Can you do MTM trousers, using size 30 as the template, but reducing thigh measurement by 1 inch? My actual measurements are right between sizes 28 and 30, but you do not have size 29 OTR.

Not in the contemporary. It's available in the Slim. We'll re-assess after this season, but even checking our inventory now we have a lot of 38S left in our suiting. Could be different for the sportcoat demand. What is your chest/waist size? For most the Slim works great. If your actual chest is 38 the slim should still be good. If it's a 39 or 40, the Slim 40 will be good.

We don't have the cloth left for it. Pretty much all of it went into production. We may have a couple of metres left, but I will only get that update after the products ship.

Alternatively, you can have the thigh of the 30 tailored pretty easily by any competent tailor.

Hi Rick, do you mind checking my previous post about the slim khaki material and fit?

    Thanks Rick, that'll work.

Do moleskin trousers require a crease, and do they hold it? I'm wondering if they can be worn the same way as chinos, without a crease.

Unfortunately, I have tried both the contemporary and slim in the 38S and the 40slim and the 38s contemporary fits best by far. Bummer. I don't dabble much in the suiting but have bought several of your 38s contemporary jackets in the past.
    Thanks for the quick reply.

It's a woven, and substantial. Almost like a denim weight. Not a tremendous amount of stretch. What is your actual thigh measurement at the fullest part? You need about 3" extra fabric around your thigh for comfort.

RE: the khakis, if this helps I normally wear S&M dress trousers in Contemp. size 32, but went with the khakis in 33 slim, and they are not too large at all.

Hi, Rick I have a few questions regarding the new release jackets.

Regarding size chart measurements: Which tab and model should we be looking at? Model 2 on the suiting tab / Model 2 on the blazer tab / Regular on suiting tab or blazer tab? I've always found this confusing.

Regarding sizing up from 38S Contemporary to 40S Slim: What is the difference in the armholes of these two? I know 38S Slim has a smaller armhole than 38S Contemporary but is there any difference between 40S Slim and 38S Contemporary?

    TIA

The sportcoats are most inline with the suit jacket dimensions. Follow those. Hopefully a new website should be up in the next 10 days or so with dedicated size charts attached to each product to make it easy. We're just in the last stages of uploading content and testing.

The armhole on the slim vs. the contemporary is fractionally smaller for the same size. So moving from a 38S contemp to 40S slim, the armholes are quite similar.

Thickest measurement is 25". That seems like it would push me towards the 36 then, correct?

Stick with the 36 if you need the thigh room.

Sweaters are in. Outerwear doesn't arrive until next week.
