A regular Spier 38R slim is just a bit but too tight. The contemporary is too big. How is the neo cut? Would the neo be tighter or looser? The 32 slim pants are just a bit too tight so if the neo is bigger that would be great. Thanks!

can someone please comment on their experience with the merino knitwear. how do they fit? do the pill over time? are they scratchy?
I recently got a merino cardigan from S&M, not scratchy at all. It's pretty soft. Haven't owned it long enough to comment on pilling, but I have a pill shaver that takes care of that on my knitwear.

Pretty much everything S&M offers in S-M-L sizing runs quite small, so I size up to L by default (normally M in everything else) and it's worked out.

I have a merino cardigan from S&M. It's very soft and not at all scratchy. Haven't had issues with pilling, although all wool will pill if you treat it badly. And yeah, it runs slim, but I'm fine with that.

So, since Spier’s products are made in China, I’m assuming that those of us in the US will face a 10% duty when S&M ships to us?

10% is at least more palatable than 25
Products coming into Switzerland were already had duties based on country of origin. Spier has the option to add these duties / VAT when shipping to Switzerland. If not, sometimes processing fee by UPS/FedEX are about 40 CHF. A similar system for USA can be easily implemented.

I see they added a new Relaxed fit trouser option in their custom clothing order form. Has anyone tried it? I love my Spier Jackets but the pants have been too tight for me until now. Might put in a full suit order soon.
