Does anyone have any of the current season high rise trousers in a 36 contemporary that they would be willing to take a couple measurents on for me? Thanks!

Awesome, thank you!!

Would you be able to measure the hips, front rise, thigh, and knee as in the attached images please?

I usually get my pants at Luxire but want to see if Spier would work for me too. I have larger thighs from lifting, so based on the size chart I think I’ll have to go with a 36 and get the waist taken in but I want to make sure they’ll actually fit first.

Thank you again for the help!

@hdub

this is for the heavy wool twill di sondrio, code # 10062-HR01

hip width: 22"
front rise: 12" from where the horizontal seam intersects the vertical seam, i believe this is the measurement instruction
thigh width: 14.5"
knee width necessarily entails some guesswork here as the luxire instructions presume finished pants at the correct length for the wearer (if i'm reading them correctly). going down from where the horizontal crotch seam intersects the vertical by 11.25", i'm getting 10.375" width here. at 12" down from that seam the width is closer to 10.25"

i was curious so i double checked the stone covert, code # 10092-HR01. hip width is ever so slightly narrower at 21.875", front rise very slightly taller at 12.125", thigh width slightly wider at 14.75", knee (11.25 down) is 10.625" and knee (12 down) is 10.5"

i'm sure there is a tiny bit of user error in at least one of the above measurements but i took my time and did my best etc. the divergence across the pants is mildly interesting to me but for the most part doesn't seem wildly out of what i might have guessed. i put the first pair back up before taking the second pair back out but my best guess for the hip width discrepancy is that the pleats may have been subtly different in how they laid in the covert (stiffer fabric) than the wool, causing me to fiddle with it a little bit more in an effort to comply with the measurement instructions. i do think the rest of the measurements were a little more apples to apples as between the two pairs of pants

my wife just walked back in from dinner with her friends to see me measuring unfinished pants. fortunately, in this household, "a guy on the internet needs to know about these pants" isn't even a top five weird thing i will say over the course of this week

Thank you so much for the measurements, that is incredibly helpful!

My wife would expect nothing less from me either 😂

Thank you again and have a good evening!

They're really committed to the skinny fit styling
Yeah - it is bad...both the jacket and trousers are too small for the already slim model. Looks bad.

I am figuring out how to reproduce the DB sportscoat in the picture below. Should the pockets be patch pockets or regular flapped? I can't tell from the picture. Would be great to hear some suggestions.
