Hi there, we are a bit backlogged and working hard to get orders out as fast as we can! This seems to be our busiest Black Friday sale yet (Or, at least since I've started haha). If it still hasn't shipped yet, shoot an email over to shipping and CC our info team, I'll get these orders bumped that are taking a bit longer.

*Just as a general statement* - we do have a processing time of 4-6 business days and with any alterations, can add an additional 3-4 business days. We are currently not being impacted by the Canada Post strike, however, that's not to say that UPS isn't backlogged as well! We haven't received many complaints/feedback from our customers during this time so from what we know, everything is running smoothly.
I sent an email to info this morning to follow up! Just awaiting a reply. Thanks for the info!

I decided to jump into spier outward with a parka since it was for a good price but I'm a 38 in sport coats and they only had a 40. Am I going to be swimming in this thing or are they still reasonably fitted, foes anyone know? I may be layering under it some but suits rarely so at most a sweat shirt. If I will be swimming is it thought that tailoring such a thing is a reasonable thing to do or is it probsbly not worth the cost/hassle? Sorry just not familiar with spiers outerwear and sizing.

I find their outwear, besides overcoats, generous in the chest. I have a parka that is the equivalent to my sportcoat size and it will accommodate layering fine. For sportcoat use solely, I’d probably size up.

Darn. I'll have to see if maybe it can be tailored a bit. I guess at this price I can probably flip it if needed. Thanks for the info

Has anyone had issues with the RTW Sportcoats this season?

I just received the Taupe Twill Di Pray in the Neo Cut and the sleeves are noticeably slim. I thought I may have received a Slim by mistake (instead of my usual Contemporary) but otherwise the fit is as usual.

Strange problem. The sleeve opening is almost a full inch slimmer than my other Sportcoats from SM. Like a Slim sleeve placed in a Contemporary jacket body.

A decent alterations tailor should be able to let it out if you plan to keep it. Obviously not ideal but if you’re stuck with it, it’s fixable

That's only if there is any fabric reserve in the seam. Which usually isn't the case with most brands

Tried out their denim jeans. Ordered a size 30 contemporary but the measurements on the thighs and hem are a full 1 inch smaller than their size chart! Unfortunately they are final sale, but given the measurements outside of the 1/2 inch tolerances do I have a leg to stand on if I got in touch with them?

I'm not sure but good luck. I got a pair in contemporary and they shrunk quite a bit in the thighs to the point where they're absolutely slim fit.

They are hilariously tight, to the point, that they are actually slimmer than the slim fit on the measurement charts. I haven't even washed these, so if they shrink they'll be transformed into a skinny fit.

Received the old model wax jacket the other day. Great fit!
Tossed the lining aside cuz, those open arm holes will be frustrating. I can layer up myself

2 problems tho. 1 technical. The other, 🤷🏿‍♂️

Wore it for days happily putting my hands inside the flapped pockets in -12c weather
only to discover the side pockets 2 days later.

Bottom edges of pocket already undone
Tricky corner of pocket to secure it seems

Second issue is the sleeves. I got two left sleeves!
I’ve emailed CS re this
There is no replacement for this
Debating how I feel about this sleeve issue currently

Why do the sleeves appear correct on the bottom pic?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
