Aren't the sleeves too baggy though? I know I can fix the length, but the width is always trickier.

I can also combine the slim jacket with the contemporary pants if needed
Sleeves are personal preference. I have large-ish arms (for the menswear crowd lol) and fat/thick forearms, so space is precious for me. I hate feeling confined, and would much rather have slightly too wide sleeves than the opposite.

FWIW, they don't LOOK big, so I wouldn't touch them unless it bothers you.

And, worth noting, every stress point becomes far more pronounced with linen, and slimming the sleeve will amplify that.

@SpierTeam, your Neo 3 fit is an absolute winner with me! Do you have any plans to offer it as a suiting option in RTW or MTO? From the responses here, I’m certain it will be well received. Apologies if someone has already asked this question.
Essentially since this is still a new product, we are waiting for feedback on how this product has done out in the real world! We do see a lot of the positive feedback here but it will also boil down to our return rates on the Neo 3. We do plan on offering the fit in MTO - which essentially could be made into a suit there. However, for OTR, this will all depend!

Need some advice on sizing. I just got a linen suit: one is a 40 Slim, the other a 40 Contemporary Long. I'm 6"2 tall. In S&M, I currently have some 40 Slim jackets and others in 40 Contemporary regular and long. I just can't tell which looks best on me without going crazy with alterations.

40 Contemporary Long

Another vote for Contemp Long - for sure!

In the past I have purchased a number of suits and jackets from Spier and Mackay and overall quite pleased. On occasion they would come in with small issues like buttons falling off but that is an easy fix. Yesterday I received my latest purchase which I was really looking forward to. However, the suit came in a shockingly appalling state, not only was it entirely covered in dust and dirt but in places there was also damage to the fabric. When I reached out to their support they were most unhelpful, suggesting I take the suit to get dry cleaned and that since it was the last one left in my size there was nothing else they could do.

Is it possible to ask for Neo 3 MTO right now by using the notes?

Do a lot fewer regular rise trousers seem to be coming with side tabs lately? Seems like the collections have largely gone back to belt loops.

Hi Maxonemin!

I would like to extend my sincere apologies for the issues you faced with your order. Upon reviewing the email thread forwarded by our shipping team, I understand the inconvenience caused by receiving a suit in such condition. Initially, we offered to cover the dry-cleaning costs as there was no replacement available, but it appears that this solution was not satisfactory as the fabric was also damaged. After investigating your order, I found that the suit is from our SS22 season, which is now 2 years old. Given that this suit is from 2 seasons ago, a replacement of the same suit is just not possible. However, we did also offer to send you a return label to have the suit sent back to us for a full refund since you declined the dry-cleaning offer. We are disappointed to hear that you found us unhelpful, as we genuinely believed that returning the suit to us was a suitable resolution.

Out of topic but if there is anyone with the 36" chest - what is the usual pit to pit measurement of the wool sweaters that you wear? 18", 19" or 20"? (shetland sweaters, for example)

Hey @SpierTeam,
As I am sitting here seeing on my spare MOP button as one went missing, I care to wonder what ever happened to the button machine that added a plastic wrap around the button threads to make it more secure?

Hi! I heard from Rick that the Mock Leno from Minnis will hopefully be restocked this month, any idea when?
