Thought I'd share this. Really exciting.

I've been working on this for YEARS. This is authentic, vegetable dyed handloomed Madras. This WILL bleed.

It's been a challenge finding the right weavers, the dyes and looms. We had a couple of promising starts before but they always hit dead ends for various reasons. I'm fairly confident after a couple of initial tests, we have the right product now.

You can see in the pic several things. First is the loom itself. It's an old wooden loom. The only power comes from human input. Second is the cloth itself. You can see the desaturated nature of the cloth on the loom. That's because the vegetable dye cannot achieve the same level of saturation as synthetic dyes. But, that's the charm. It will fade and bleed into each other over time creating a really great dusty looking cloth. We hope to have 3 colours in very limited quantities next summer.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it! Y'all are such enablers lol, idk what I was expecting you to say. I actually already have the pants, and I do really like them, so I was considering the SC as well, but I think I will hold off and wait until they restock this or something similar:
Will probably work better for my needs.
I've been on the hunt for a nice grey jacket myself. That Moon herringbone caught my eye, but I'm having trouble imagining what to pair it with. Dark grey/charcoal trousers would probably work well, but almost everything else seems like it would be sub-optimal. Maybe navy donegal or olive moleskin trousers? That would make it fairly informal though. I think I would prefer a mid grey jacket with a PoW check instead, since that would allow for a greater range of grey trousers. Eager to see if they have something like that lined up for FW.
