Magee yes. I know we can get full rolls, but I have to find out about cut lengths.
Not wool flannel. These are refined, worsted wools, in dress shirt weights. Pretty awesome fabric. Have a lot of great qualities, such as natural stretch, anti-bacterial, odor-resistant, highly breathable and wrinkle resistant, all without added chemical treatments.Wool shirt fabrics?? Take my money, some nice wool shirts (hopefully flannel) finally
We have some medium weight flannel coming. Great for layering. Working on getting some heavy weight flannels too.I'll be readying my bank account... If it's mainly thick flannel I'll definitely purchase a couple. If you have some plain woven, open weave wools I'll be in for many more...
I've mentioned this a few times. Denim can be arranged, but you won't get the hi/low effect on the seams if we just do cut/sew. Without that effect the shirt looks a bit dull.Any chance of some denims in the MTM section? It’d be great to have an option other than PC for some MTO denim shirts.
Good question. Honestly, I forget what we did last year. I know for popovers, we add 1" to the torso measurements. I know one season, the factory added 1" to the HALF, which ended up being 2" total. Can't remember if that was last year or the year before.....I'll have to check.sizing question for @spiermackay (but also anyone who has experience with them)- on last season's linen popovers that are on the site now, is there a sizing difference between those and this year's offerings? For example, I bought two from this year in size 15 Slim and they fit perfect (but with little room for error). On the popover size chart, a 15 slim has a 42.5" chest and a 38.5" waist, but when looking at the chart for last year's shirts, those measurements translate to a 15 1/2 slim. Do I need to size up or is the size chart incorrect?
Good question. First, any very light coloured trouesrs unless it's crazy thick has some amount of transparancy. No getting around that.@spiermackay
Back on the underwear discussion; it seems like anytime someone posts/buys "cream" trousers there are several other posters who either ask about the opacity or claim it's too much to get past.
I've dabbled in the dark arts of men's "flesh-toned" underwear. I was surprised Uniqlo didn't make any, and the options on Amazon and elsewhere are... at best not great, and worst nearly pornographic.
An S&M flesh-tone boxer-brief may not be the underwear we want, but the underwear we need.
(understood there are a range of flesh tones, but many female underwear brands address these opportunities)
Fingers crossed for Weba merino. It is incredibly nice. Not wool flannel. These are refined, worsted wools, in dress shirt weights. Pretty awesome fabric. Yeah. And a lot of steam.
We already got 3r2, solid collar rolls, seersucker. High rise flat front chinos are on the way. Just need some classic blackwatch and patchwork madras added to the MTO!
