I love Spier & Mackay, but are there really not enough places that sell undershirts and socks and underwear already? I get being a one-stop shop pre-internet, but it seems so much less necessary now.

I could be misunderstanding here but I believe the T-shirts are designed to be worn on their own and are not undershirts.

Believe it or not it isn't easy to find an ideal white T-shirt. I have tried numerous companies and they always seem to be lacking in some way (length, thickness of cotton, quality of cotton, quality of neck line etc.)

No I’m talking about the people here who are asking for them to do socks and underwear and the like.

Yep- zero interest in underwear personally, but some OTC socks at Spier's price/quality ratio would be a definite buy for me.

You do realize that there is a huge market for high quality mens underwear? Most are boxer briefs with the extra fabric that cups your goodies.

The stuff is all nice, but usually way over priced. Saxx canada for example sell one pair for $35.

If S&M can do something just as nice at a more reasonable price point they would probably sell a lot of it.

I mean, that's fine, I was just saying I personally don't have an interest in underwear. Your last sentence is exactly why I mentioned OTC socks- Pantherella is minimum $32/pair, and as much as I like them, a more cost effective option would be nice.

As someone who considers boxer-briefs to be an abomination on the level of stretch fabric or wrinkle-free dress shirts, I'm always on the lookout for well made, reasonably priced classic boxer shorts. I'd absolutely be interested in Spier & Mackay were to bring something out.

What I wear now is $26 a pair, but they last typically at least 300 wears.

I guess my point is, aren't there already plenty of places where you can buy decent underwear? Haven't we all already found that sweet spot? Maybe I'm wrong, it just seems like a weird thing to be clamoring for.
