God help me when they do the suit liquidation. Haven’t seen anything I was crazy about in a while but who knows what they’ve got tucked away.
This. It’s the tucked away jawnz that trickle dollars out of the wallet.

Also curious about Parka sizing from this season. I already pulled the trigger, because I didn't think they'd last long at those prices, but still curious to know. I'm a L/40R Contemporary guy, so I went with the L parka - which is listed under sizing as L(42). I don't mind some extra room since winter clothes underneath can vary in size, so hopefully I should be fine.
Really would love some sizing advice as I'm curious on the bomber jackets/parkas assuming they size the same. The pricing seems too good to pass up.

Should we size at our suit size or one up? Assuming we should layer? Anyone have any idea for this year's models?

Please advise asap since it's final sale

Based on the measurements, a S is a 38 and has 46.5!!! inches of chest room. Considering their contemporary jacket only has 41.5 I just ordered my suit size (38). For the bomber parka, I won't be wearing it over a suit anyways, so 46.5 should hopefully be enough for a thick sweater. I don't think they have hand warmer pockets though, which is not to big an issue for the bomber parka compared to the full size parka.

Hi!
I am wearing 34 slim jackets (although I'm closer to 33 slim) and took XS parka.
With a jacket underneath it's almost tight, but I'm okay with this. (I'm saying again: "almost". If I were true 34 slim, that would probably be a bit too snug everywhere)
Chest pockets are fully fleece lined, hip buttoned pockets have fleece only on one side - which is the piece connected with the patch pocket itself.

Hmm so seems like it might be worth sizing up, if just to be able to layer...

Anyone have experience with the purple label fine twill, or the denim BD shirts? Just ordered one of each today as the cost looks great and the materials look solid. Something to be said for finding a good normal BD Denim shirt, especially for the cost.

I am curious as to the unlined collar on the purple label too.

Vests look awesome to me but I tend to wear them casually and the button-only closure seems a bit too much of a hassle for me...

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone had the same thoughts as me about the contemporary trousers (these are the Guabello denim blue).

The overall fit is good, but 1) may need a bit of taper (obviously hemming too), and more importantly 2) the area around the butt/upper right seems to be straight and not have any shape - perhaps the seats needs a bit of tightening?
Input appreciated. I've tried the slim (chinos) below but they were too tight for my liking.

Otherwise, good quality and looks good. Also a photo of what the denim blue looks like in close - material looks great in person, like a bright denim X twill. Will take more photos once everything is tailored.

Edit - should have clarified, I will also be letting out the waistband (bit tight ATM).

What a shame that SM removed the trousers during the sport coat liquidation. I would've purchased trousers at full price with a liquidation sport coat....

Grain of salt: my tailoring is like my wine appreciation; I can tell good from bad but damned if I can say what made it good or bad. That said, it looks to me like the seat or hips may need to be let out. The pockets aren't laying flat and the pleat seems to be pulled.

Colour looks good IRL, as normal looks darker than S&M Photos. As far as fit, I think it fits great and nothing needed in seat or tapering, can't tell about pleat though in photos. Can you button the waistband button or just didn't button in first photo? My taste is also different from other people.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the fur on the parkas? I always feel a little weird about wearing fur

Simply because it works the best, better than anything out there. Talking specifically about hoods here; try on some jackets when its frigid cold and there's wind. Hoods without fur or even synthetic fur cannot even compare.

I'm considering pulling the trigger on a parka. More of a 40/41R chest (185lbs Athletic build), the medium seems like it should do the trick but should I move up to a Large? Would love some insight from those that have purchased.
