Anyone have ironing tips for the oxfords? I am having a beast of a time keeping them free of those micro waves, no issue with big creases just those tiny waves.

I think with this lower gorge height from the past couple years, the Neo lapels simply look too big. It worked with the older Neo cuts with the higher gorge, but now it just completely engulfs the entire chest.

To my eye, the lower the gorge, the narrower the lapel should be. The standard cut nails this now IMO.

Cannot unsee

I'm having second thoughts about getting the needlecord now... I mean, I've got a high opinion of myself, but I'm not exactly Robert Redford here.
Usually when that happens for me, I stick it on my list of style "wants and needs(heh)".

If I revisit it a couple weeks later and still want it, then that's a good sign. Otherwise, it was a passing interest and I don't actually want it.

It's not a bad look, but definitely not for me. Gave me 70s lapel vibes, especially combined with corduroy.
I feel you, I'm sure the S$M website photos aren't helping the cause! For me it just looks (no disrespect) Dated! Looking forward to IRL photos...

Am I the only one a bit mystified by the new jacket cut? Why would they develop a new more conservative and structured cut, and then do it in a bunch of garish checks?

Their newer collections are generally too loud and garish, imo. Way too many bold checks and windowpanes in particular. Wouldn't it be better to release a more limited collection, but stock larger volumes of the more popular pieces? Something seems strange to me when certain pieces are sold out in a matter of days, but there's seven different windowpanes still available months later. Doesn't it speak volumes that SuSu's current collection comes off as much more restrained and wearable (just talking about fabrics and patterns, not necessarily their cuts etc.)?

It's very possible that I'm talking out of my ass, here. I don't know anything about retail. These are just my thoughts as a consumer. Curious to hear what others think.

I agree. I find most of the checks too loud and garish, but it seems especially strange with a more structured cut.

Has been brought up several times, feels like mostly by me

Was told they were padded/traditional look to appeal to everyday consumer, but 1) those guys dont know difference between say Neo and traditional cut imo 2) those guys aren't going to buy many of the patterns that we are seeing 3) if this is a demo they're trying to target....please offer more non-iron dress shirts - i would gobble those up :)

How long are deliveries taking? Need to have clothes for Christmas parties. Screw these lockdowns.
Depends if you are in US or Canada. UPS is usually pretty quick at delivering to both countries, it is mainly the processing time killing them currently. Processing can take anywhere from 1-5 days or so, sometimes longer. Can always send an email after a few business days to ask
