Looks great on you, and agree you can slim the body a bit.Just received my first ever sport coat from S&M. Ignoring the casual wear underneath and the poor lighting, what do you all think of the fit?
I am fairly happy with it overall and imagine I'd be even more pleased after slight alterations. I think the body could be slimmed a tad.
Thank you!
Examples?I just noticed Spier & MacKay actually raised their prices in time for Black Friday lol
All the sale sport coats, for ex. were $149 and now they are $199 and up (some even $279!!). You can take 20% off, but they are still higher than previously even with the discountExamples?
The liquidation sale that you are most likely referring to on the clearance jackets was a limited time affair and was clearly advertised to end before the Black Friday sale started. All the sale sport coats, for ex. were $149 and now they are $199 and up (some even $279!!). Ok - I'm not really a big S&M buyer, so not really up on the brand, however, thought it was odd that they would raise prices for black fridayThe liquidation sale that you are most likely referring to on the clearance jackets was a limited time affair and was clearly advertised to end before the Black Friday sale started.
To summarize - they ran a liquidation sale on suits and sportscoats mid-month that were most likely odd sizes left over from other sales they've been forced, like most other companies during this climate, to hold to turn over inventory.Ok - I'm not really a big S&M buyer, so not really up on the brand, however, thought it was odd that they would raise prices for black friday
Not to beat this to death--as I am not even buying anything--I'm not suggesting he lower his prices further (hence no stacking), but to raise them just seemed odd to me as a marketing technique. At least keep the same prices lolTo summarize - they ran a liquidation sale on suits and sportscoats mid-month that were most likely odd sizes left over from other sales they've been forced, like most other companies during this climate, to hold to turn over inventory.
Having to raise prices back on those particular items just signals that the margins are already extremely thin.
It makes sense that the BF discount doesn't stack on those prices and to be honest as much as we all appreciate a great deal (or steal) most of us in this thread don't want to see Rick have to resort to that to survive.
