I think certain micro patterns can work as odd trousers. Scope, scale, color,
and texture are determining factors, though.

I feel like if you look away from the lens rather than looking right into the lens for some shots, it could produce better images; Have some fun lol. That, along with maybe standing between the brick wall and the garage bay door rather than so out, as the things in the background distract from the main focus, being you. This would also provide a nice neutral background. Natural light is the best, but it is best diffused (this is why window light or golden hour usually looks better than outside mid day). You are probably using the 10 second timer over the 3, right?
If you would like a better way to get the shot, I highly recommend a tripod and get a phone mount with it (preferably a Arca-Swiss style tripod, but can get a simple phone one). Just trying to provide some constructive criticism, but they look good, keep it up. Any photo is better than none at all ??

Initial thoughts.

The color is not super accurate, but there is definitely a purple undertone to the navy. I need to get pictures in natural light. The photos have been color adjusted. It’s disappointing IMO, but similar to the navy sweaters from previous years. I wanted a richer navy.

I’m a 38 R/L in most brands. I found S&M 38R slim snug for me. I’m probably a 40 R slim in S&M. Time will tell. I wear a 34/35 sleeve on shirts. The sleeves in the cardigan are a good length. I can roll back a cuff if I need to

I wanted a relaxed fit so I went with a medium. It is exactly how I wanted it to fit. I like the length which is about where I like my sport coats to hit.

I’m not crazy about the buttons they look too big to me. They look nice, but don’t feel great. I may change them.

It has a nice weight to it, but is not heavy in any sense of the word to me. I have/have held similar cardigans from other brands that are much heavier. I was concerned based on other reviews tbh. The fabric has a nice hand feel. I’ll have to see, but I don’t think it will be overly warm. Probably fine for 50s and 60s with an oxford

I ordered a couple in medium (ecru and green) and can't wait. Glad to see the sleeve length isn't too short. I as well prefer a darker, less bright navy or I would have purchased the navy first. I have a few dark navy cards so I am ok.
length is longer than I anticipated.

i can’t easily reconcile why the fits shown here are so different than this one from the Spier site. Is the model wearing a really small size? Most of the pics here show a longer cardigan and a much lower neck opening, too. Thoughts anyone?

I think this is due to people that posted pictures here mostly going with their normal sweater size for the relaxed look, over the sizing down for slim fit, thus they have more fabric and it therefore sags down more creating the longer effect. I feel like the model sized down one for the trim look for the photo, as I think it fits him well. However, could just as easily be the model may have a longer torso and shorter legs? Who knows, no model measurements
