long time lurker here. Does anyone have experience with SM sweatshirts? Do they shrink? What is the washing/care tag say? hand wash?

For reference, I usually wear SM Polo shirt L but for sweatshirts I am considering XL would that be too big? Thanks

Hello, any word on if the linen trousers will eventually make it in? I purchased the olive sport coat (which arrived yesterday!) with the intent of wearing it as a suit, but am concerned the return/exchange window may close before I know if the matching pants are on the horizon. Not looking for any ETA at all, just if the production got messed up such that I should make my decision based on the sport coat alone. Thanks, and the jacket looks great!

Olive linen arrived yesterday. Love the fit! Though, I'm built like a T-Rex (big head and little arms) so naturally I have to shorten the sleeves when my tailor opens up again. Speaking of which, I've got this on with the Medium Grey Fresco trousers, and last spring's medium blue bengal button down. I had the pants tailored just before the COVID lockdown, and as usual she left them too long. Looks like I'll be bringing these back to the tailor too. @spiermackay REALLY love the jacket!
Post photos fellas! (sdjack, looks like you may have posted a photo but it isn't opening, at least in my browser)

The care tag says “Machine wash in warm water gentle cycle with like colors turn garment inside out while washing. No bleach. Lay flat or line dry. Warm iron.”

I have three. I wash them (and everything) on gentle: tumble them in the dryer - with no heat - for 3 or 4 minutes to shake out the wrinkles from the washer’s spin; then hang them on wide plastic hangers to dry. They’ve held their shape and haven‘t shrunk at all.

I can’t speak to your size or preferred fit. Like everything S&M, the cut is trim. Small fits me and is consistent with other S&M smalls.

I got a M and wish I had sized up. I wear a 38R slim in their sport coats.

Thanks for your response and sharing your washing procedures. Seems like the way to go to avoid shrinkage. I usually don't put my dress shirts in the drying machine rather hang dry like the process you explained. It is probably time to do the same process for the sweatshirts as well

Thanks for your response. Yes, I am considering sizing up to XL. I usually wear their 42 short sport coats which leaves plenty of room. I like my jacket and clothes on the loose side, so it makes sense to size up for the sweatshirts as well. Take care

@spiermackay PLEASE fix your shipping email system. It sends email now when the shipment has been DELIVERED which is not particularly useful when you are in another town all day because you had no idea the order had been shipped yet. Fix it to let us know when an order is being SHIPPED please. Now I have to just hope nobody stole the damn package by tonight when I get home. :brick:

Is the polo bundle deal supposed to stack with the 25% off code? It's not working for me.
The system didn't seem to allow more than 1 promo code, so I added a note in the comments section to manually add the SALE25 code, and then I sent them a followup email. They replied saying the would be refunding me the difference.

Can anyone confirm I’m not seeing things and that in the custom sport coat fabric selection there’s a $200 green flannel from VBC? I missed out on the green Drago and if this isn’t an input error I’d love to pick it up.

Sounds like an error of some kind. 😕

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
