The flannels. The mid blue, is it close to navy? What's more versatile, the light blue or mid blue flannels?

And you're right, it's biella not bella spalla.

I think versatility will be based on what you have to pair it with. I will say that in real life the darker pair really does look purple, but in a somewhat understated way. However, this may make them slightly less versatile from the perspective of "there's that guy in the purple pants again".

I think either would work with sportcoats in greys and browns. If you're planning on wearing them with a navy jacket then the lighter ones would work better.

At the end of the day you really can't go wrong with either. They both look great (but neither look like navy blue).

I have the charcoal, probably will get the light brown. Need another one to get the discount.

Anyone know if there is a promotion on custom shirts now and if you can get a collar that is different than one of the collars on the site?

Yeah they will make you any collar you want. Send a picture with ideal measurements/specifications.

Not sure about the promo but the Black Friday was the biggest of the year for custom and its passed.

The mid blue is amazing in person. It does have the slightest bit of a purple undertone but it is so subtle that I doubt anyone would notice. I think they are going to be highly versatile. I just got my mid blue back from the tailor and I will post up a pic when I wear them. Here was a pic when they arrived.

I would wait until the 26th before doing anything, sure to be a sale on Boxing Day.

I just want to echo the recent comments about "stay the course."

S&M remains to be the best bang for you buck in terms of OTR shirting. Like others, I might wish that there were little tweaks made here and there, but that wouldn't stop me from making a purchase. I seriously have a hard time buying a non-S&M shirt. Please keep doing what you're doing.

And for all those people who can't live with the little issues (sleeve length, box pleat, etc.), S&M provides a fantastic MTM service at a price that's hard to beat. OTR may not be the best option when you could have it customized for just a little more money.

Did prices across the board just go up $10 or is there just a lot of the $69 bundle fabrics out of stock? Seems like overnight there is now a ton less fabric available, and prices have increased

Been meaning to cop that jacket. Just got the tobacco-colored cashmere jacket, myself.

    Fit is killer, mate.

Wow, both are very nice and suits you well! Love the 3r2 button stance and lapel roll! Deets on the green tie?

Thanks! Picked it up off uncle Spoo. It's a hickey freeman.

    Hi Rick,

What's the normal turnaround for shipping an order out? I placed 2 orders on the 16th, one has been shipped, and one is still stilling in received status.

The store closes at 2 today and won't be open until Wednesday, I believe.

@Spiermackay, I want to thank Michael for the great service today. Helped me in diagnosing the collar roll problem on the jacket that I had (pictures of the wool-cashmere tobacco jacket to come) and also showed me a whole ton of awesome-looking F/W fabrics.

Also, gents, it looks like they're going to be running a 20% off promo for MTM during Boxing Week.

20% off only MTM or off everything?
